Support at Home Program
The Australian Government’s Support at Home program provides funding to help older Australians remain living independently in their own homes.
It replaces the previous Home Care Package (HCP) program and brings together a range of in-home care services under one streamlined system.
How Support at Home Works
Under Support at Home:
- Funding is based on your assessed care needs
- Services are flexible and tailored to you
- You can choose your provider and the types of support you receive
- Care is designed to help you stay safe, well, and independent at home
Accessing Support
To access Support at Home services, you will need to:
- Register with My Aged Care
- Complete an assessment to determine your support needs
- Receive an approved funding level
- Choose a provider to deliver your services
How Golden Glow Nursing Can Help

- Receive safe and high-quality services
- Raise concerns or make complaints without fear

The Aged Care Code of Conduct sets the standards for how all aged care providers, responsible persons (such as board members and management), and aged care workers, including our nurses, support workers, and volunteers, must behave and deliver services.
The Code helps ensure that older Australians can have confidence and trust in the quality, safety, and integrity of the care they receive.
Our Commitment:
All Golden Glow Nursing employees and representatives are required to follow the Aged Care Code of Conduct.
We are committed to providing care that upholds each person’s dignity, independence, safety, and personal choice.Expected Behaviour:
The Code outlines eight behaviours expected of providers, responsible persons, and aged care workers. These include:
- Acting with respect for individuals’ rights to freedom of expression, self-determination, and decision-making in accordance with applicable laws and conventions
- Treating individuals with dignity and respect, and valuing their diversity
- Respecting the privacy of individuals
- Delivering funded aged care services in a safe, competent, and skilled manner
- Acting with integrity, honesty, and transparency
- Promptly raising and responding to concerns that may impact the quality and safety of care
- Delivering services free from all forms of violence, discrimination, exploitation, neglect, and abuse, including sexual misconduct
- Taking all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to violence, discrimination, exploitation, neglect, abuse, and sexual misconduct
